Sometimes, when you mix fiction and auto-fiction with reality seen by the eye of the beholder, you find a beauty of possible truth. A book "Secret Vilayet" written by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edin Garaplija is the starting point of that "possible" truth.
Why? Because, it opens "Pandora's box" of the known "truths" which is related to the honest and devoted, but sometimes painful twists related to the justified fights of the Bosnia and Herzegovina defenders. Within the war (1992-1995) which started as aggression from Serbia, but finished as civil war (Dayton peace accord among involved parties has been signed).
Why? Because some hidden powers wanted to establish ethnically cleansed territories when they would rule based on their own religion(s) and under the leadership of one leader (democracy would be a past tense, in that case). Edin Garaplija is a brave man. Now, we have to wait and see how it will develop. Maybe with the new book from Edin within which will be further develops some parts of this one.
Namely, sometimes he goes with concrete facts (supported by scanned, visible documents) but sometimes he is just mentioning his thoughts without support of the documents. Who knows, maybe fiction in the new book will be put aside and we will be faced with real scientific, factual truth. Although, this one is excellent "inside job" which shows that real truth is below the "ice berg" and not the one we are facing on the daily basis.
But, as our Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. & Dr. Honoris Causa once mentioned: "The truth does not hurt. The truth heals." The book "Secret Vilayet" from Edin Garaplija trully heals. If you know how to read it.

Refleksije naše Zamjenika glavnog i odgovornog urednika, Petera Tasea
Ponekad, kada pomiješate fikciju i auto-fikciju sa stvarnošću koju vidi oko promatrača, nađete ljepotu "moguće" istine. Knjiga "Tajni vilajet" koju je napisao doc. dr. Edin Garaplija je polazna tačka te "moguće" istine.
Zašto? Jer, otvara "Pandorinu kutiju" poznatih "istina" koja je vezana za poštene i predane, ali ponekad i bolne obrte vezane za opravdane borbe bosanskohercegovačkih branitelja, u okviru rata (1992-1995) koji je počeo kao agresija iz Srbije, a završio se kao građanski rat (potpisan je Dejtonski mirovni sporazum među uključenim stranama).
Zašto? Zato što su neke skrivene sile htjele uspostaviti etnički očišćene teritorije kada bi vladale na osnovu vlastite religije i pod vodstvom jednog vođe (demokratija bi u tom slučaju bila prošlo vrijeme).
Edin Garaplija je hrabar čovjek. Sada moramo sačekati i vidjeti kako će se to razvijati. Možda sa novom Edinovom knjigom u okviru koje će se dalje razvijati neki dijelovi ove. Naime, ponekad ide s konkretnim činjenicama (potkrijepljenim skeniranim, vidljivim dokumentima), ali ponekad samo iznosi svoja razmišljanja bez potpore dokumenata.
Ko zna, možda će fikcija u novoj knjizi biti ostavljena po strani i suočiti se sa pravom naučnom, činjeničnom istinom. Mada, ovo je odličan "insajderski posao" koji pokazuje da je prava istina ispod "ledenog brega", a ne ona sa kojom se svakodnevno suočavamo.
Ali, kako je naš glavni i odgovorni urednik, prof. dr. & Dr. Honoris Causa Sabahudin Hadialić jednom spomenuo: "Istina ne boli. Istina liječi." Knjiga "Tajni vilajet" Edina Garaplije zaista liječi. Ako znate kako da ga čitate.
